This seems like a terrible waste of a beautiful screen, particularly when my main reason for using the PC is for editing photos, and my photo management and editing software is preventing me exploiting the full resolution of the display. However, Adobe InDesign® and some image servers provide support for opening multiresolution formats. Hello my USb came and I backed everything up, I deleted the settings and my issue is still persisting is there Cache or something I can delete from elements I deleted the temp files and still have it. Similar happens if I accept that size and try to change it via menu option Image>Resize. Yesterday, I was unable to do this - the new image dialog does not accept any change. The only way I can get the Photoshop Elements UI font to a reasonable size, is by dropping the screen resolution (to say 1920x1080). Photoshop Elements does not provide options for opening multiresolution files the image opens at the highest resolution within the file. When I am building an image with a blank border around it I hit Ctrl-N and set up a blank image large enough and then drag a smaller image over this, leaving space around. I have tried setting the "Use system font" option in the General preferences, but this doesn't seem to help. However, disappointingly the UI font size in Photoshop Elements is way too small when the display is at the native resolution.
